About this piece
The engraving on this clear cylinder wraps around the curved surface as a frosted image. At the front is a car, with its grille, headlights and number plate, and more of the scene runs round the sides and across the top, leaving a clear band at the very top. Because the body is clear, the far side of the engraving shows through from behind and gives the picture depth as the piece is turned.
A piece like this works as a prize at a car meeting or a rally, as a thank-you from a club, or as a gift for the owner of one particular car. The frosted image needs no colour to read, so it suits a desk, a shelf or a display cabinet, and the same approach works for a motorbike, a boat or a building.

Questions
Can you engrave our own car from a photo?
Yes. A sharp photo of the car from the angle you want is the starting point. We prepare the engraving drawing from it and show you the layout in 3D, and the number plate can be kept, changed or left blank.
Can a name or a date be added to the engraving?
Yes. A name, a date, a race number or a short line of text can be engraved with the image in the same frosted finish, either worked into the picture or as a separate band near the top or bottom.
