Clear acrylic display riser

AI concept for a clear three-step acrylic riser on an oak counter, showing small gift boxes and bags of chocolates on its steps. For chocolatiers, gift shops, cafés and hotel shops; our workshop in Riga cuts it to order, with step heights and depths set to your products and your counter.

The idea images on this page are AI concepts — design ideas, not photos of finished work; final construction and scope are agreed for your project. The photo marked “Real work” is from our workshop.

Included:
The acrylic riser cut to your products, with polished edges
Optional:
A wooden base, coloured acrylic, your logo engraved, more steps
You supply:
Product sizes and how many per step, counter size, your logo file

Decisions to make

Step heights and depths

Each step is sized to what it holds: deep enough for the box or bar to sit fully on it, high enough for the row behind to show over the row in front. Send the size of each product and how many sit per step; three steps is a starting point, not a rule.

Edges and keeping it clean

Acrylic shows fingerprints, dust and fine scratches. Wipe it with a soft, damp cloth and a mild cleaner, never an abrasive one. Polished, slightly rounded front edges look cleaner and are kinder to boxes slid on and off; we agree the edges on the prototype.

Clear alone, or with wood

A clear riser alone almost disappears on an oak counter, as in the concept. A wooden base adds weight, a place for your logo and a link to the counter; acrylic and wood are cut on our one floor and fitted together.

Suggested uses

Chocolate and gift shop counters

Small boxed or wrapped products beside the till, raised so each row shows over the one in front and the counter stays tidy.

Packaged goods by a café till

Wrapped bars, boxed teas or small jars for sale by the coffee machine, sitting on clear steps that leave the counter visible.

Hotel shops and reception desks

A few local gifts on a reception desk, where a clear riser shows them without hiding the desk or the person behind it.

A kit for each stockist

A producer gives each shop the same riser, sized to its range, so the products sit the same way on every counter.

Materials and options

Materials and finishes

  • Clear acrylic (as in the concept)Cut and finished in our workshop. The counter shows through, so the products seem to float; it shows fingerprints and dust, so it needs wiping.
  • Coloured acrylicWhite, black or a colour from your packaging hides what is behind the steps and gives the display a colour of its own.
  • Wooden baseSolid oak, ash or maple under the riser, matched to your counter, steadies it and gives your logo a place.

Personalisation

Your logo engraved on the wooden base or along the front edge of the top step, or a mark cut from coloured acrylic and fixed to the back. Engraved into clear acrylic, a logo reads as a frosted mark, best against a dark background. Position is agreed on the drawing.

From request to production

  1. Your briefTell us how you will use it, how many you need and whether you want a logo.
  2. Drawing and 3D reviewReview the design from each side on a private page.
  3. Quote and approvalPrice and scope agreed before anything is made.
  4. Prototype or productionFor a series, one prototype first; a single piece is made once approved.

The drawing shows the steps with your products on them, seen from the customer's side of the counter. For several shops, the prototype is set up with your own products before the series.

Questions

Can the riser have more or fewer steps?

Yes. Two steps suit a shallow counter; four or five suit a back shelf or a deeper counter. The number depends on the space and how tall the products are, so send both and we draw the options side by side.

Can loose chocolates go straight on the riser?

The truffles in paper cups on the lowest step are an illustration only. We make the riser for packaged products, such as boxes, bags and wrapped bars, and make no claims for food placed directly on it.

How do we keep clear acrylic looking new?

Wipe it with a soft, damp cloth and a mild cleaner; dry dusting and abrasive cleaners leave fine scratches. Rounded, polished edges hide wear better than sharp ones, and a wooden base keeps hands off the acrylic when the riser is moved.
