Acrylic table sign with oak base

AI concept for an acrylic table sign: a clear panel with a simple engraved leaf mark, standing in a slotted solid oak base on a café table. For cafés, restaurants, wine bars, hotels and tasting events; our workshop in Riga makes it to order, as one sign or a series with your logo engraved.

The idea images on this page are AI concepts — design ideas, not photos of finished work; final construction and scope are agreed for your project. The photo marked “Real work” is from our workshop.

Decisions to make

Panel size and what it shows

Decide what each sign carries: a table number, a QR code, a short menu or only your mark. That sets the panel size, from a small number card to a menu-sized panel. A taller panel needs a longer, heavier base to stand steady on a busy table.

Slot fit

The slot in the oak base is cut to the exact thickness of the panel: tight enough to hold it upright, loose enough to lift out for cleaning. Wood moves slightly with humidity, so we check the fit on the prototype before the series.

Fixed mark or swappable inserts

An engraved panel is fixed: the same mark on every table. Two clear panels held together in the slot, with a printed card between them, let staff change the menu, the wines or a number. Many series mix both: your logo engraved on the base, inserts in the panel.

Suggested uses

Café and restaurant tables

Table numbers, a QR code for the menu or a reserved card, held upright in the same base on every table, so the room looks matched.

Tastings and wine flights

A sign beside each flight names the wines poured. Inserts change between events while the bases and your engraved mark stay.

Hotel rooms and reception

Wi-Fi details, breakfast times or a welcome note in each room, on a sign that carries the hotel's mark.

Deli counters and wine shelves

Short product notes on a counter or shelf, swapped by staff as the stock changes.

Materials and options

Materials and finishes

  • Clear acrylic (as in the concept)The engraved mark reads frosted against the clear panel. It shows fingerprints, so it is wiped like glass.
  • Solid oak base (as in the concept)Heavy enough to steady a small panel, with the slot cut to the panel's thickness; it takes your logo engraved too.
  • Other woods or a painted baseAsh or maple for a pale table, walnut or black alder for a darker one, or a base painted to match chairs or walls.
  • Coloured acrylicA white, black or brand-coloured panel with your mark engraved, in place of clear.

Personalisation

Your logo engraved on the acrylic panel, on the front of the oak base, or on both. In a series the mark sits in the same place on every sign, and each table's number can be engraved too. Size and position are agreed on the drawing.

From request to production

  1. Your briefTell us how you will use it, how many you need and whether you want a logo.
  2. Drawing and 3D reviewReview the design from each side on a private page.
  3. Quote and approvalPrice and scope agreed before anything is made.
  4. Prototype or productionFor a series, one prototype first; a single piece is made once approved.

The drawing shows the panel and base at full size with your mark placed. On the prototype we check the slot fit, how steady the sign stands on a table and how easily an insert changes, then the series.

  • Panel size, and whether inserts should be swappable
  • Clear or coloured acrylic, and the wood or colour of the base

Questions

Can each sign carry its own table number?

Yes. Numbers are engraved on the panel or the base, one per sign, from your table plan. Your logo stays the same on every sign; tell us how many tables and how the numbers run.

Can we change the menu or the wines on the sign?

Yes, with two clear panels held together in the slot and a printed card between them. Staff swap the card; the panel and base stay. We give you the card size from the drawing so you can print to it.

Will the sign stay upright on a busy table?

The base is sized to the panel: a taller panel needs a longer, heavier base. A small number card is steadier than a menu-sized panel on the same base, so we check it on the prototype at your panel size.
