Green storage chest with geometric pattern
AI concept for a storage chest painted matt green, with a geometric line pattern cut across the front and lid, a dark leather pull and a slim black steel base. A statement piece for hotels, restaurants, offices and homes; our workshop in Riga cuts the pattern by CNC, paints the chest and welds the base.
The idea images on this page are AI concepts — design ideas, not photos of finished work; final construction and scope are agreed for your project. The photo marked “Real work” is from our workshop.

Real work from our workshop
Patterns like this front are drawn once and cut on the CNC router in our workshop in Riga, then painted in our spray room.
Decisions to make
Drawing the pattern
We draw the geometry as a vector file and cut it with our CNC router, so every line is evenly spaced and a series repeats it exactly. The lines on the front and the lid are drawn to meet at the lid edge. Line width, depth and spacing are agreed on the drawing, and the pattern can come from your own artwork.
Colour and finish
Matt green as in the concept, or another painted colour matched from your sample. Dark matt colours show the pattern softly, pale ones more strongly. For a hotel or restaurant, tell us how the chest will be cleaned, and we agree the finish and sheen with that in mind.
The steel base
A slim straight-legged base makes the chest read as furniture in a contract interior. We weld it to fit the chest, at a height that lines up with nearby seating or a bed; floor glides spare stone and wooden floors. A wooden plinth is the alternative.

Suggested uses
Hotel lobbies and rooms
In a lobby, a chest beside the armchairs hides spare blankets and cushions; in a guest room, it holds extra pillows at the foot of the bed.
Restaurants and bars
Near the host stand, table linen, candles and spare menus stay at hand without a cupboard, and the pattern makes the chest part of the interior instead of back-of-house storage.
Office receptions and meeting rooms
Chargers, cables, brochures and samples in a piece visitors notice, painted in a colour from the company palette.
Living rooms
One strong piece in a calm room: green against oak floors and pale walls, holding throws, games or records.
Materials and options
Materials and finishes
- Matt green paint (as in the concept)Sprayed in our own spray room; a matt finish lets the cut lines read by shadow.
- Birch or maple under the paintFine and even, so narrow lines cut cleanly and their edges stay sharp under the paint.
- Natural oak or ash, unpaintedWith a clear finish, the pattern shows through shadow and grain together; the stronger grain means the lines are drawn a little further apart to stay readable.
- Slim black steel base (as in the concept)Welded from slim square tube on the same floor as the chest and painted; another colour, such as the chest's green, is possible.
Personalisation
The pattern itself can carry your brand, drawn from the angles of your mark or a motif in your interior. A small logo can also be engraved on one end or inside the lid, agreed on the drawing.
From request to production
- Your briefTell us how you will use it, how many you need and whether you want a logo.
- Drawing and 3D reviewReview the design from each side on a private page.
- Quote and approvalPrice and scope agreed before anything is made.
- Prototype or productionFor a series, one prototype first; a single piece is made once approved.
The drawing shows the pattern across the front and lid at full scale, so you see where the lines meet before anything is cut.

Questions
Can the pattern be based on our logo or interior?
Yes. Send your logo, a brand pattern or photos of the interior; we draw a geometric pattern from its lines and angles and show it on the chest front and lid. It reads more quietly than a logo on the front.
Can you make matching chests for several rooms or branches?
Yes. Because the pattern is a file cut by CNC, every chest repeats it exactly. The first chest is made as a prototype; once you approve it, the series matches it in pattern, colour and base. There is no minimum order.
Can the pattern wrap round the ends of the chest?
Yes. It can continue from the front round both ends, drawn so the lines meet at each corner. The concept shows plain ends with leather handles, which then sit on the pattern or give way to hand grips cut into the ends.
