About this piece
The photo shows the shell straight off the machine, still lying on the machine bed before trimming. Two rounded ears rise at the top, the face swells out in deep, smooth curves, and a narrow flat edge of sheet still runs around the base. The plastic is fully transparent, so the dark bed shows through and every curve picks up reflections.
A clear shell can cover a model or a display, form a window in a product, stand in a shop window or at an event, or become part of a larger figure or prop. A deep, rounded form in clear plastic keeps whatever sits underneath in view while protecting it from dust and hands.
To make a shell like this we need a 3D file, a drawing or a sample of the shape. We draw it, you look it over in 3D on a private page, and the quote is agreed before production. The shell is then formed and trimmed in our workshop, with the edge cut to the outline you need and any openings added. It can be clear, tinted or coloured, and you can order one piece or a series.

Can you make a clear shell from our own model or figure?
Yes. Send a 3D file, a drawing or the figure itself as a sample. We draw the shape from it, you check the drawing in 3D on a private page, and the quote is agreed before anything is formed.
What happens to the flat sheet around the shell?
It is trimmed away. The photo shows the shell before that step. We cut the edge to the outline on your drawing, either close to the shape or with a flat rim left on for fixing, and openings can be added as well.
