About this piece
The photos show a rectangular panel with a matt, almost black face and a brushed gold-tone strip along its top and bottom edges. The name runs across it in three lines: a large serif word, a row of widely spaced capitals and a short line in a heavier type. Every letter is a separate cut piece with a brushed gold-tone face, and the close view shows how far the letters stand proud of the panel.
Signs of this kind hang behind a reception desk, beside the lifts in a lobby or next to the main door. Fine gold-tone letters contrast with the dark panel, and because the letters are raised, they catch light from the side and change slightly as a guest walks past. The edge strips give the panel a finished look, so it reads as one object on a plain wall.
In our Riga workshop we cut panels and letters like these by laser cutting or CNC milling, and spray the painted finishes in our own spray room. You send the logo, we draw the sign, and you check it in 3D on a private page before anything is made. The size, the wording, the panel colour and the letter finish can all change, and a set for several entrances starts with one prototype.

Can you match the gold tone of the signs we already have?
Send us a photo or a sample of your existing signs. We match the letter finish as closely as we can and show it in the 3D drawing; for a series, the first prototype lets you compare it with your signs before the rest are made.
Can the panel and the letters be other colours?
Yes. This sign pairs a matt dark panel with brushed gold-tone letters, but the panel can be painted any colour in our own spray room and the letters given another finish. You see the combination in the 3D drawing first.
