About this piece
Seen from below, the sign is a shallow box shaped like a circle with a rectangular tab underneath. The round face is bright orange with a rounded rim and two large black letters, and the tab has a white face with a small logo and a line of text, framed in the same orange. Two metal arms hold the sign away from a street lamp pole, each one fixed with a band clamp around the pole.
Signs on poles are read from a car or from the other side of the road, so they need a simple shape, a strong colour and very few words. Orange stands out against a blue sky and bare trees, and the round shape is recognised before the letters can be read. Band clamps let the sign go on an existing pole, with no new post and no holes drilled in it.
Pole signs like this are made in our Riga workshop: the shapes can be laser-cut or CNC-milled, arms and brackets can be welded from steel, and the colours are sprayed in our own spray room. Tell us the pole diameter, the wording and the size you need; we draw the sign with its brackets, and you check it in 3D on a private page. Questions
Can the same sign be made for many poles?
Yes, there is no minimum order, so it can be one sign or a series for a whole street or site. For a series we make one prototype first; once you have checked it, the rest follow the approved piece.
What do you need to know about the pole?
The diameter of the pole, the height at which the sign should hang and which way it should face. With those, we draw the arms and clamps to fit, and you see the whole sign in the 3D drawing before production.
