About this piece
Rooms 706a to 717 lie to the left, and this plate says so with a room range and an outlined arrow beneath it. Every character, and the arrow too, is silver-tone and held clear of the dark plate by short pins, so the light throws a shadow behind it. Drawn as an outline rather than a solid shape, the arrow stays as light as the numerals. The plate is fixed to a hotel corridor wall with a dark patterned covering.
Direction plates go where a guest has to choose a way: out of the lift, at a junction or at a turn. A room range and one arrow answer the question in a single look. Raised characters on pins give the plate depth without adding colour, so it sits quietly on a busy wall.

Plate, characters and arrows are all made in our workshop. Your version can use another finish for the characters, another plate colour, more lines for more ranges, or solid arrows. Questions
How do we tell you which way each arrow points?
Mark the plate positions on a floor plan and add the room range for each one. We draw every plate with its arrow and send the set for you to check in 3D, so a wrong direction is caught on screen, not on the wall.
Can room numbers with letters, like 706a, be included?
Yes. Letters are cut in the same typeface and finish as the digits and set on the same pins, so 706a sits in line with 717. Any mix of numbers, letters and short words can go on a plate.
