About this piece
The plaque has no rectangle around it. Its black base follows the shapes of the letters and leaves a narrow black margin around the whole word, while the letters are silver-tone with a fine lined texture that catches the light. Seen at an angle on white paper, the letters sit slightly above the black, and the plaque casts a sharp shadow along its edge. Even the dot over the i is joined to the word by the black margin.
A plaque cut to the outline works where a plate with corners would look heavy: on the front of a machine or a product, on a display stand, a door or a reception counter. With only the word there, the logo keeps its own shape, and the black margin connects small details such as dots and tails to the main outline.
We cut plaques like this by laser cutting, which follows a logo outline closely, and finish them in our own workshop in Riga. Send the logo as a vector file and tell us the length you need; we draw the plaque, add the margin and show it to you in 3D on a private page. The colours, the size, the thickness and the quantity are up to you, from a single piece to a series for a product line.

What happens to small parts of a logo, like the dot over an i?
We join them to the rest of the logo through the black margin, as on this plaque, so the piece stays in one part. You see where every join falls in the 3D drawing and can change it before anything is cut.
Can you make the same plaque for every product we sell?
Yes. There is no minimum order: we make one plaque, a prototype or a full series from the same drawing. For a series, one prototype comes first, so you can check the size and the colours before the rest are made.
