About this piece
Green numerals reading 356 have glossy faces with rounded, domed edges. Each one sits on a black layer cut to the same outline, so a thin black line shows around it. A flat black strip with a smooth S-shaped curve runs behind the numerals and holds them away from the wall. In the photo, the piece is held up against the wall to test the fit.
Holding a number off the wall gives it depth and a shadow that shifts as people walk past. The curved bracket gives the sign a character of its own, so it suits interiors with a playful or retro look, and the same style can carry pictograms for toilets, stairs and lifts.
Numerals, backing shapes and bracket are drawn together and sent to you as a 3D design on a private page. The parts are made in our workshop, and the colours come from our own spray room. For your version, change the colours, the typeface, the size of the numerals and the curve of the bracket. A set for one floor is a series: one prototype is made first and can be test-fitted on your wall, then the rest follow, with the quote agreed before production.

Questions
Why test-fit a prototype before the series?
A bracket sign depends on the wall it goes on: the light, the door frames and what passes by. Holding the prototype in place shows whether the size and the curve work, and any change is made before the rest of the set.
Can the bracket be a different shape?
Yes. The curve is drawn for each project, so it can be straighter, longer or shaped to clear a door frame or a light fitting. The 3D design shows the bracket and the numerals together, so you see the whole piece before it is made.
