About this piece
A light wood veneer with a straight grain forms the face of this plate for room 225. It is laid on a black core, which shows as a dark band around the edge and the rounded corners. Above the number sits a motif of three nested arches. Numerals and arches are slim gold-tone strips with a brushed look, standing a little proud of the veneer.
A wood face brings warmth to a corridor of painted doors, and the fine gold-tone lines keep the plate light. The arch motif can repeat on every door, turning a run of plates into one family while the number changes from door to door. It suits a hotel with timber details, a guest house or a quiet office floor.

Wood, metal and plastic are all worked in our Riga workshop, open since 1996, so the face, the core and the numerals come from one place. The quote is agreed first, then comes one prototype, then the series.

Yes. The motif is drawn for each project, so it can be a shape from your interior, a simple line or nothing at all. Send a sketch or a file, and you check the drawing in 3D before anything is cut.
Can the face be in a different wood?
Yes. The face can be chosen from the woods we work with, including oak, ash, maple and walnut, so it sits with your doors or furniture. Send a photo of the doors and we suggest a wood that suits them.
