A single piece, a prototype or a series

White Nordic makes custom games, components and props in Riga, Latvia. The examples range from a wooden solitaire board and word dice to a card box, themed cases and a numbered castle tower. Some are complete physical objects; others are parts that belong within a wider game or activity.

A clear brief explains what the user does with the object. Tell us what is moved, held, sorted or displayed, and what needs to be read. If several parts interact, show their relationship in a sketch so the discussion covers how the pieces work together as well as their appearance.

Games and game parts

The solitaire board has wooden balls and tongs, while the word game uses engraved wooden dice. A clear card box contains engraved plywood tabs, and a cut plywood emblem has a matching coaster. These examples show different relationships between a main object and its smaller parts. List every component your brief needs to include.

Props and cases

The props include a decorated game stand with targets, metal-edged themed cases and a castle-shaped tower with numbered columns and clear shelves. One case has a cut-out name; another carries a printed name panel. When requesting a prop, distinguish its visible shell, graphics and storage from any separate working elements.

Small gifts and tags

An engraved house-shaped tag, a plywood snowflake, a gold-tone key tag and a wooden gavel show the smaller objects in this collection. Their outlines and surface details give each a specific purpose. Send the wording or emblem at the start, along with the intended use and the size you have in mind.

Materials and finishes

Wood and plywood appear in the boards, dice, tabs and ornaments, while acrylic forms the clear boxes and shelves. Our workshop also works with metal, so one set can combine materials. Parts are laser-cut, CNC-milled and engraved in the workshop, and painted elements are sprayed in our own spray room.

Questions

Can you make the physical parts for a game I have designed?

Yes. Send the rules relevant to the pieces, a component list and drawings or references. Explain how the parts interact and identify the text, symbols and shapes that players need to recognise.

Can wooden components carry words or symbols?

Yes. The photographed dice carry engraved words, and the card-box tabs carry engraved subject labels. Provide the exact text or artwork for each face or part, with a clear list of any variations.

Can I begin with a single game prototype?

Yes, you can start with one prototype. We use a drawing and a private 3D review to discuss the design, and agree the quote before making anything. A series begins with one prototype first.

What should I specify for a themed case?

Describe what the case should contain, how it will be opened and the appearance you want outside. The examples show cut-out and printed name treatments. Include the contents' dimensions and artwork for the visible surfaces.

Can you make matching awards for a game or event?

We also make trophies, medals and awards. Include the event artwork and the wording for each award in your enquiry, with a separate description of the game components or props you need.
